Registration, information and group assignments will be given at Kråkberget on Sunday evening. The remaining days of the week, further information will be given by the Ramble officials.

Paddling in the archipelagoes of Vesterålen. This tour starts from Kråkberget after the registration is finished. Daily stages from 15 to 20 km. If the weather conditions is brilliant, we might also paddle on the outside in more exposed conditions. Suitable for anyone with some paddling experience, and for those who enjoy a slower pace. Three nights in tents.

Paddling the westside of Vesterålen, outshore and exposed. This trip goes on the outer side of Vesterålen. The outside is exposed, there will always be a bit of 'sea'. The pace is higher than on the paddle trip in the archipelago. The conditions can be tough and this is therefore a trip for the more experienced. If the weather forecast shows calm seas, it is a trip we reccommend to everyone as a lifetime experience.

NB. Participants need to bring enough water for the first 48 hours.
All routes are subject to change depending on weather conditions. ASKR reserves the right to change routes up until the start if safety or weather considerations require us to make changes. ASKR will, however, try to maintain routes of approximately equal distances as those originally planned.

Safety is a primary concern during the Ramble, with several group leaders having radio communication with one another and with the safety escort boat and the base at Skipnes.
IMPORTANT: – Participants are expected to have their own food and overnight equipment during the entire week. The Arctic can be cold at summer, bring good clothing, to keep you both warm and dry!

Participants in the Ramble may choose to paddle the touring marathon on Friday (Sea Kayak Race). Everyone who completes the entire event is eligible in the drawing for prizes: Ramble + Marathon (friday) or Camp/Course (incl. friday trip).
Starting fee NOK 3.500.- includes safety support, dinner Friday at the final dinner banquet.
